The Accelerate Savannah Hub is a co-working space in Savannah, Georgia that houses the elements of trade, knowledge and enterprise all under one roof. This project was completed in the winter of 2014 for my Sustainable Practices in Design class during my master's degree in Design for Sustainability. Its primary purpose is to promote a healthy and sustainable economy within Savannah, especially to address the issue of 28% poverty in the city. The Hub provides training and collaborative opportunities for people who would like to learn how they can contribute more to their communities.

Throughout the design process, my team and I developed three strategies for space planning; one focusing on trade (craft), one on knowledge (education), and one on enterprise (innovation). These plans were proposed to our client, the Accelerate Savannah organization, during our final presentation for them to decide on which they ultimately preferred. We developed a plan for the exterior space, as well as conceptual renderings to help them aesthetically visualize what their final product could be.
